Dr. Muffinstein (originally muffin morphosis)
Whilst developing the ultimate rat poison, a mad scientist inadvertently transforms himself into a Muffin.
The player's goal, as Dr. Muffinstein, is to battle for survival against hordes of mutant lab rats, using different potions and poisons and collecting different types of jams to replenish the Dr.'s health points.
This game was created over one weekend for an "Indie game jam" event. The theme of the event was "Mad scientist".
Our development team consisted of 6 people.
My role in the project
I was responsible for the look and feel of the game, and created all of the 3D assets - art direction, modeling, rigging, animating, lighting and visual effects
What I learned
I learned the limitations of mobile games when it comes to 3D assets, and that developing a game in less than 48 hours is a lot of fun.
